Welcome to Xebot. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Xebot platform and services operated by Xebot Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

1. Definitions

"Service" refers to the Xebot platform, including our website at xebot.ai, our coding interview environment, analytics tools, and all related services.

"User" refers to any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Service, including companies conducting interviews ("Customers") and individuals taking interviews ("Candidates").

"Content" refers to any code, text, data, information, or other materials submitted, uploaded, or transmitted through the Service.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. When you register, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access
  • Immediately notify us if you discover or suspect any security breaches

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
  • Transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Collect or harvest any information from other users without consent
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Share interview content, questions, or solutions outside the platform

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Our Property

The Service and its original content (excluding Content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Xebot Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and its licensors.

4.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of any Content you submit through the Service. By submitting Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

4.3 Interview Content

Code written during interviews may be recorded and analyzed for evaluation purposes. Candidates retain ownership of their code but grant the interviewing company and Xebot the right to review, store, and analyze such code for hiring decisions and platform improvement.

5. AI Tools and Third-Party Services

The Service may provide access to AI coding assistants and other third-party tools. Your use of these tools is subject to their respective terms of service. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of any AI-generated content.

6. Payment Terms

For paid plans:

  • Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • We may change pricing with 30 days' notice
  • Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Xebot Technologies Pvt. Ltd., its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
  • Any content obtained from the Service
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
